Part II

Hello fellow people I am trying to stay consistent, so here I am to rant about movies and stuff. Now I wanna talk about the name of website, which is bttf4ever.blogspot.com. If you don't know what bttf is, it is basically Back to the Future. This is my favorite movie in the whole wide universe!

The reason I say it because it's the best movie of 1985 and probably one of the best films of that decade. It's definitely the best movie about time travel I've ever seen. It is so easy to fuck up time travel in films. Apparently there is no such thing as time travel in real life (someday i'll prove them wrong), and movies can fuck it up because the writers can contradict themselves easily. Back to the Future and the Terminator series (well...just 1& 2) break it down simply enough, and still make sure it actually makes sense in that movie universe. Thank you Robert Zemeckis and Bob Gale for making a totally sweet script.

Back to the Future has everything you possibly want in it. A likable protagonist, good villain, good plot, and some really clever dialogue and wordplay. Plus it has some memorable characters like Doc Brown, played by Christopher Lloyd. I like the film because of how the plot sets itself up so nicely and is very chaotic. Marty McFly (the great Michael J. Fox) is friends with Doc Brown, who has finally created a time travel machine out of a Delorean (I want One) using plutonium (nuclear muthafucka). He tests it and it works, but then he is gunned down by some random Libyans who just want their nuclear shit back. Marty jumps in the Delorean and drives 88 miles per hour to escape and bam bum bam, he's in 1955.

Now that he's in the fifties he meets his dad who is a total pushover (well he is a pushover back in the eighties too). Marty's dad (the weird, but fun Crispin Glover) is pushed around by Biff, who's a frekin' giant. Anyway somehow he messes up how his parents meet. Marty's mom (the beautiful Lea Thompson) has the hots for him now instead of Marty's dad. Now Marty has to reunite his mom and dad before he ceases to exist. Plus Marty and 1950s Doc Brown must time when the lightning hits the clock tower, which is enough energy for time machine needs to travel back to 1985 (1.21 gigawatt). Like I said there is a whole of shit going on and it's fun as hell.

The movie is perfect in every sense of the world and the famous skateboard is unforgeable too. This is a real landmark film that spawned two nice sequels, a theme park ride (kick azz), and even a Saturday morning cartoon (of course there would be one). I have plenty of favorite films, but this one tops the cake. That's it so goodbye and I'll talk about some other stuff later. Holla!

Classic Biff line
Biff: Why don't you make like a tree and get out of here! (LoL)
